Raymond Johnson is a musician, composer, and producer from Houston, TX. He began studying music and performance during secondary school participating in marching bands, wind ensembles, and jazz bands. During his time studying Electrical Engineering at UT Austin, Raymond explored digital music production and began performing regionally with Austin based groups including Bramaya, Superfónicos and Golden Dawn Arkestra.

Raymond is known for a layered sound that blends elements of jazz fusion, Pan-African folk and blues, and experimental electronic with an Afro-futuristic aesthetic. His artistic practice and motivation centers on the development of humanism across the African Diaspora.
